Lord Of All

This small collection includes three titles created for piano trio plus flute, but will work equally well for a standard quartet with two violins, cello and piano. Crown Him Lord Of All is a medley of three hymns, Crown Him With Many Crowns, The Head That Once Was Crowned With Thorns and All Hail The Power Of Jesus’ Name. Goin’ Over Home is a medley of the American folk hymn, Wayfarin’ Stranger and the Spiritual, Soonah Will Be Done. The Saints’ And Angels’ Song is a setting of the hymn, The Love Of God, with the title taken from the last line of the refrain. All three pieces reference the Christian hope of a home in Heaven where Jesus is Lord, and will be praised eternally. For advanced intermediate to advanced performers, they can all be heard on the album Amazing Grace  by Elite Artists Trio.
