WINTER & SPRING 2010 NEWS

STUDENTS SUCCESSES!

At the Young Artists’ Recital Competition sponsored by the Alliance of Christian Musicians in January, Amber Mecke placed first in the Senior high division and her sister Jessica Mecke placed second in the Junior High division.

In April, two students continued their success last year at the National Fine and Performing Arts Festival, sponsored by the American Association of Christian Schools. Jeremy Proto placed second in the organ solo competition, and with his piano partner, Nathan Lucas, placed third in the piano/organ duet category, performing a duet composed for them by Evelyn R. Larter.

Sunday, February 21^st, Kemble Memorial United Methodist Church, Woodbury, NJ, 4PM: Annual Members’ Recital of the SouthWest Jersey Chapter, American Guild of Organists.

Saturday, March 27^th, 7PM: Cantata We Believe This Is Jesus (composed by Evelyn R. Larter) with the Keystone Youth Choir, Deborah Ford, soprano, Margaret Claudin, flute, Bill Brosius, clarinet, Evelyn Larter, piano, directed by Esther Jane Kulp, at Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Hatboro, PA.

Sunday, May 2^nd, 4PM: Recital at Deerfield Presbyterian Church, Deerfield Street, NJ, with Kangwon Lee Kim, violin, and Evelyn R. Larter, piano.
